The Wild Algarve Coast
The ride is more or less flat, until the midle of the way, at km 26. Here, the first climb appears. It is not too long (less than 1km long), but it is steep (7% grade). After this several ups and downs appear, always steep, but shorter than the first one. The second “big” climb of the day is at km 38. Again, the climb is not long (500m), but it is the steepest climb of the whole bike tour, with 10% of grade average, and some meters with 16% of grade! After this point you only find some smooth and fairly climbs until the end.

The Famous Beaches in the West of the Algarve
The south-west coast of the Algarve has many cliffs so, the ways and roads are almost ups and downs. On the ride of today you will find many small sections of climbs very steep, but they are always very short climbs. The granny gear will be your best friend! The first half of the day is very beautiful. You will ride on the cliffs, on dirt-roads. So, be carefull! Just before you get to the hotel you will find a bike lane on the street. Ride on it. Pay attention to the people that cross that bike lane all the time!

The Wild Flamingos Near the Sea
Today is the shortest day of the whole bicycle tour. The day is very diverse, with some beautiful and scnenic views to the beach areas. Some short climbs here and there, some dirt-roads or asphalted roads here and there, and also some walkways complete the day of today. You are biking to the center of the Algarve, so maybe you will find much more traffic on the way.
