This bicycle tour takes us to the protected landscape of Sintra and Cascais, located 25km (16mi) away from Lisbon – the Natural Park of Sintra-Cascais.

The overall difficulty level of this tour is 3, Intermediate (level 3.0 between 1~5, precisely). It is recommended for enthusiast bikers and cyclists. It is supposed that you are in good shape.

We leave Cascais and start to climb to Sintra Hills. Now the landscape gets different and we cycle through vegetation tunnels.

It seems that we are in a rain forest and we cycle almost to the top of these magnificent and majestic hills, and then we ride down along an endless winding road, always surrounded with luxuriant vegetation.

Our way continues along the beautiful coast of this National Park and we get to the westernmost point in Continental Europe – Cape Roca.

We cycle back to Cascais enjoying stunning views along the way, and passing by Cape Raso and enjoying the beautiful sceneries with the sea at our side all the time.
